Platform administrators may also want to restrict developers’ access to some Istio functionalities, fine-tuning options, and APIs - particularly experimental or alpha status ones - in production environments. In this session, you’ll learn how to leverage tools and techniques like Kubernetes admission controllers, Istio feature flags, and GitOps solutions to feature-gate your Istio setup and narrow the configuration surface area.
